Mark of conformity for mandatory certification.
Form, dimensions and technical requirements

1.The present standard establishes a form, dimensions and technical requirements to the mark of conformity for mandatory certification of products in GOST R certification system.
All requirements of the present standard are obligatory.

2. The dimensions of a mark of conformity is determined by enterprise (organization, establishment), who acquired right to its application, by establishment of the base size H (drawing 1). The base size H should be not less than 4 mm.
The sizes of a mark of conformity should guarantee clearness and legibility of its elements with naked eye.
Identification code of the certification body, who issued the certificate of conformity, is put at distance of 0,25 H under a graphic image of a mark of conformity symmetrically to the vertical axis B in the print  of 0,2 H given on drawing 2.
3. The image of a mark of conformity should be accurately distinguishable from a product surface.
 
4. Mark of conformity is made in the various technological ways providing its accurate and clear image during all service life of a product.

ABOUT MARK OF CONFORMITY

According to article 27 of the Federal law "On technical regulation" the Government of the Russian Federation decides:
To approve the enclosed description and image of a mark of conformity, intended for production marking, which correspond requirements of technical reglaments in accordance with the Federal law "On technical regulation".

DESCRIPTION OF
THE MARK OF CONFORMITY

The mark of conformity represents a combination of the letters "T" (with a point over it) and "R" entered in the letter "C", changed into the measuring bracket which has identical height and width.

The image of a mark  should be one-color and contrast with color of a surface on which it is put.
