WHY WE DO NEED A CERTIFICATE

In the Russian Federation several laws for the defense of the consumer were issued in order to shield the market from poor quality products.

All the products in order to be imported need to be manufactured according to Russian laws and standards otherwise they cannot be imported.

The GOSTANDARD is the authorized body that is entitled to the survey and certification for the quality of the products.

The conformity certificate name is : GOST R (for Russia)

In case of products that for their use or their specific application are in Hazardous areas or in oil & gas applications or chemical or are vessel under pressure or lifting equipment they will need special permits to use called RTN (Rostechnadzor)

Those permits are necessary for the installation and start-up of the equipment.

Procedures for Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan are almost the same.

Fire, metrological and hygienic certificates are also needed for specific products or applications.

5 years with production certification.

Necessary for:

import of products in: Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan

Declaration of Conformity TR TS Validity:

5 years with production certification or batch

Necessary for:

import of products in: Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan

HYGIENIC Validity:

whole product life

A. M. Can be obtained for:

all products approved under new technical rules

RUSSIA - GOST R conformity certificate

GOST R

Validity:  3 years with company certification. It may be obtained for a specific contract batch or with 1 year validity

Necessary for:  import the product in Russia

Must be issued for: most of products

from left: Gost R – TR (ceased) , voluntary certificate, Gost R certificate (ceased) * the "ceased" certificates will remain in validity till max 02/2015

RUSSIA - RTN (Rostechnadzor) permit to use - ceased

Validity:
5 years

Necessary for:
installation of the products

Must be issued for:
all the products using gas or under pressure, all equipment for Oil & Gas, Mining, Nuclear, Petrochemical,
all lifting devices etc.

Substituted by the Expert Conclusion on Industrial safety, that is not a certificate, already used RTN will be valid maximum until 02/2015.

RUSSIA - Hygienic certificate TS - GHIGHENICESKI

Validity:
whole life of equipment

Necessary for:
use of the products

from left: State Registration TR TS, Expert Conclusion, Old Hygienic cert.   (ceased)

Must be issued for:
all the products used with potable water, in contact with person, paints,  isolating material, etc.

Validity:
3 years with company certification.  It may be obtained for a specific contract with 1 year validity

Necessary for:
use of products   and custom clearance
Must be issued for:  all the applicable products!

2-3 years with company certification.  It may be obtained for a specific  contract with 1 year validity

import the product in Ukraine

Must be issued for:
all products

Validity:
whole life of equipment

Necessary for:
installation of the products

Must be issued for:
all the products using gas, under pressure, installed in petrochemical, nuclear, metallurgical site, etc
